For restaurants, cafés and beauty salons

Tips for your team.

One QR code on the table, at the till or at reception. Guests pick the person who served them and pay by BLIK, card or Apple Pay. The tip goes straight to that person's account, not to the venue's till, so there is nothing for you to split or settle.

No subscription, no tippin' commission and no terminal.

Cashless tips for your whole team

Everything works from day one, with no change to how you serve guests or settle bills.

One QR code for the whole venue

Download it from the business dashboard and put it on tables, at the till or at reception. Guests scan the code and see your team, with photos and roles.

The tip goes to a specific person

Guests choose who they are thanking, and the money goes straight to that person's account. No shared pool, no counting after closing and no arguing about who gets what.

Payment in seconds

BLIK, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay. Guests don't sign up or install anything: scan, pick a person and an amount, done.

Invite your team by email

Enter an email and a role, and your employee creates their own account and accepts the invitation in one click. When someone leaves, you remove them from the list.

Paid out straight to each employee

Tips never pass through the business account or the till. Everyone withdraws their own tips to their own bank account from 5 PLN, and the money arrives within a few business days.

A venue page with menu and reviews

A second QR code leads to your venue page: menu, a link to leave a Google review and a tip button, all in one place.

Tips in restaurants and beauty salons

A waiter hands guests a payment device at a restaurant table

In a restaurant, café or bar

  • The QR code stands on the table or the bar, or comes with the bill.
  • Guests pick the waiter, bartender or barista who served them.
  • Tips don't mix with takings, and nobody has to pay them out of the till later.
Three hairdressers with scissors and brushes in a salon

In a beauty salon or barbershop

  • The QR code stands at reception and at each station.
  • Clients pick their hairdresser, beautician or barber, even if they paid for the visit at reception.
  • They can also leave a tip after they've left, because the code works all the time.

For owners and managers

More tips for your team, zero work for you

Guests carry cash less and less, and a tip added to a card payment has to be paid out of the till and accounted for later. tippin' takes that off your plate.

Nothing to count after closing

You don't count tips, split a pool or pay them out of the takings. Everyone gets their own right away, into their own account.

Good service pays off

Guests thank a specific person, so the tip goes to whoever actually looked after them.

No terminal, no integration

You don't change your till, terminal or prices. Just print the QR code and put it where guests pay.

Everyone also has their own code

Each employee gets their own link and a printable card with a QR code. If they change jobs, they take it with them, and you simply remove them from the list.

Tips by QR code in three steps

1

Create a business account

Venue name, email, phone and password. No subscription and no fixed-term contract, and it takes a few minutes.

2

Invite your team

Send invitations to your employees' emails. Each of them creates their own account and verifies their identity with Stripe in about five minutes. Guests will see them on the list right after verification.

3

Put out the QR code

Download the code from the dashboard and put it on tables, at the till or at reception. The first tip can arrive the same day.

What does it cost the venue?

  • 0 PLN subscription for the business account
  • 0% tippin' commission on tips
  • The only cost is the payment provider fee: 1 PLN + 1.6% of the tip
  • Guests can cover it, and then the employee gets the full amount

From a 50 PLN tip, the employee gets

48.20 zł

The venue pays nothing.

Safety of your money

Your money is kept safe by Stripe

Stripe is a licensed financial institution supervised in the European Union and trusted with payments by businesses around the world. Tips go to your own Stripe account — tippin' does not hold your money and has no access to it.

Stripe Technology Europe Ltd., an electronic money institution authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland (ref. no. C187865).

  • Your own Stripe account

You set it up when you sign up. Stripe itself verifies your identity and your bank account.

  • Tips land straight with you

Every payment goes directly to your Stripe account, not to tippin's account. We can't move that money anywhere else.

  • Pay out whenever you want

You request it from your dashboard and Stripe transfers the money to your bank account. You can withdraw from 5 PLN.

Frequently asked questions about team tips

Do tips pass through the venue's account?+

No. Guests pick a person from your team, and the tip goes straight to that person's Stripe account. The venue doesn't receive this money, doesn't hold it and doesn't have to pay it out to anyone.

Do employees need to run a business?+

No. Everyone signs up as a private person: name, email, password and identity verification with Stripe. Their dashboard keeps the full history of tips they need for their tax return.

How much does a business account cost?+

We charge no subscription and no commission on tips. The only cost is the payment provider fee (1 PLN + 1.6%) deducted from the tip, and guests can cover it for the employee. The venue pays nothing.

What if an employee leaves?+

You switch them off in the business dashboard, and from then on guests won't see them when choosing a person. Their account, link and tip history stay with them.

Can tips be shared across the whole team?+

tippin' doesn't collect tips into a shared account: every tip goes to the person the guest chose. That way the venue never handles its employees' money. If your team has a rule about sharing, you agree on it among yourselves.

We have several venues or departments. Can we set that up?+

Yes. Each venue or department can have a separate business account, with its own QR code and its own list of people. For a larger rollout, write to us at kontakt@tippin.pl and we'll help you set it up.
